Brain Overload. System shut down. Too much heavy reading. So here are my questions/suggestions,since you just said you are a Birdstep advocate and see Calypso as misleading/overhyped: (you should be aware that I prefer to see both positive and negative info as long as it is polite, and I like to be fully informed of competition)
1. Limit postings to what you consider 1 or 2 most informative articles per day. I'm falling asleep here, having stayed up late to read. I don't have that much reading time available.
2. Please provide summary of advantages/ disadvantages to Calypso in plain English. I'm not a techie. I have no clue what the majority of board abbreviations mean either. RLC has provided me with definitions for imo,imho,lol,j/k and one I've forgotten. Bottom line, be clear and logical if you want to convince me or anyone else, because the articles by themselves just leave me wondering what was the point of posting.
3. We've pretty well established that there are other ways to do seamless roaming. I have yet to see another company with the revenue sharing incentives Calypso presents. I seems they also have the advantage on headers, and a couple other things discussed with tainor, from way back before you arrived on the board. There are still unanswered questions I posted that you could research and address. It seems clear you have more time available than I do to spend researching and probably a better technical understanding.
4. I think most board members are well educated and understand scientific research methodology, even if not in this subject. If you present your ideas fairly and objectively even if they go against your own preconceptions of which company is better, we will all "get it" and be able to make better informed decisions.
5. Now that we know there are at least 2 of you who are Birdstep proponents, maybe you can get enough interest to get the Birstep board going. I'll visit on occasion, but I can't buy through Scottrade. Bottom line is that dominating the board has earned you ignores here, and you can hardly convince people who don't pay any attention to you. A little goes a lot farther than a lot, in this case.
Hope this helps you better direct your energies. I've just provided you with the best weapons to use again the foe, assuming you can now find the right ammunition. Or, look at it this way, we're all on the same team from the viewpoint that we all want to make money in the stock market. So take your time, come up with just one or 2 well thought out reasons per day that would convince us to sell. You may just be able to save us from ourselves, or then again, you might have to buy some CLYW.
