The calculation of washed material has nothing to do with speculation.

It is a common business practice of measuring inventory.

All companies need to know what they are producing and their inventory levels.
With out it any actual Production Plan is useless.

This is a common industry practice.

Stangely enough, everyone does it except real scams.

The company should know exactly how much actual production has occurred and should have a very good idea how much washed material they have produced.

The company knows exactly how many days the dredge has been operating. They will know what capicity it has been producing and they will have at the very least rudimentary methods to determine washed inventories.

If they don't they will never be able to plan sustained Production Levels.
