Simply stating a fact.
Momentum has been lost due to the silence and lack of update by management. They should have a good idea how many days of processing are in a pile of rocks.
Most mining companies do, even those not yet producing.

TORONTO, Oct. 6, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sierra Gold Corporation (Pink Sheets:SGCP) announced today that the two new 10 ton, state-of-the-art, gold processing plants arrived in Sierra Leone last week.

Later this fall the company will now have the ability to speed up production by a factor of 10 times or more.
Fall had only just begun at that point.
Momentum has been lost and it will be harder to recapture it in this enviroment.
Getting the Processors on site and Processing should be able to do it providing it happens fairly qickly.
John did tell me it should only take a day or two to get the machinery on site once it has cleared customs.
It is reasonable to take the rest of this week also to get that equipment on site and producing and longer than that falls into delays and warrants management communication to shareholders.
In order to maintain shareholder value and momentum, especially in this enviroment it would be far better to accomplish this earlier in the week than later.
Lack of communication and declining stock price is not ridiculous it is simply old era management practices and that is concerning.
Based on the progress the company has made in communicating and the appointment of John as VP, I do expect greater effort by management to keep its shareholders informed.
