I just recieved an interesting email factoid from an unknown source. They claim that Jay Lenos antique steam engine cars have passed Califorinia emmission tests without catalytic convertors or mufflers. Those cars are from back in the twenties and earlier... Gee.. I wonder if new technology could make an even cleaner steam engine... maybe one lubricated with water, and that runs on any kind of fuel cleanly...
