banks and insurance are getting hit hard here in the AM. as soon as the shorting ban came off the table. My guess is that a lot of funds and ETFs had to reposition themselves based on their charters. A lot of inverse ETFs out there. I wouldn't think that traders are that brazen but you never know, they might be along for the ride if they know that that is what is happening.
