Dr. Kenneth Pennington, member of the oncology team at the Goshen Center for Cancer Care stated: “The ability to detect evidence of active cancer in saliva is very exciting when considering the potential for screening for common cancers such as breast and lung cancer. If the previous findings are confirmed in early stage disease, then a new paradigm for screening for common cancers will exist.”
I ask you. Is that a pessimistic statement as GS is claiming? Dr Pennington is being quoted in a press release. No one put words in his mouth. He said it is "very exciting when considering the potential." He then expanded the study. That was a ridiculous comment by GS and totally absurd!

Previous results obtained with serum samples have shown that the RECAF test can in fact detect early stages (Stage I and II) of prostate and breast cancer; where the curability is highest. These results have been presented at an international cancer congress (early stage detection of prostate cancers) and are the subject of two manuscripts in preparation to be submitted for publication in scientific journals.

Dr Moro said:
"It would be very expensive for the insurance companies to test each person with a pallet of say 20 types of biomarkers specific to only one type of cancer.
I see an industry that will start with a Recaf to separate Cancerous persons from non cancerous persons. Those with cancer will then be exposed to a pallet of cancer specific biomarkers and or scanned to internally locate it."

"We’ll be talking to a number of research and clinical labs at ISBM 2008 and we expect to arrange several collaborations using the ELISA format."

"The size of the market for follow up, monitoring therapy and determining if a lump is malignant or benign is very large."

"Inverness has paid so far $1M for rights to the RECAF tests and the project has a very high level of priory within their organization."

These are facts. Not opinions. You would never 'bash' an investment you own (Nor would I!)
