Every "miricle" AMD has pulled off involved selling off more and more of their company. There really isn't that much left anymore.

Well the alternative was looking very much like bankruptcy, in the not too distant future. Still in the long term I agree that this doesn't really help. It just moves the capital-intensive part off the books (amazing that the new Fab investors think they're going to make money with this scheme). But AMD is all about the short-term, and they convinced some people to put up some very serious money despite their demonstrated lack of ability to execute on their business plans. That's what makes it a miracle.
