I just happened to check in with the Boards about an hour and a half
ago this morning for a minute and saw (it was nice to see that SMAS is
4th top board, even on a sleepy Saturday morning) that a poster called
"kyace21" said he couldn't reach us on any of our phone lines, and he
didn't receive a response from us to his email about it.

When I spoke with you yesterday I told you that a shareholder emailed
us and alerted us to a glitch in the phone system. That was the
incident that I was referring to when you told me about the other
person who encountered a phone problem when he called.

Given our email records etc., I'm fairly certain that person was
"kyace21". He did email us at 10:30 AM Friday, and we did reply to
him, at about noon the same day. We were disappointed we never heard
back from him; perhaps he never received our email. I've attached the
response below, with personal info deleted.

FYI, if you look back on our news from last year, one of the things we
were proud to announce was that we have invested a lot of our energy
into building a "big-company" infrastructure -- so we could open an
office as quickly as it took to build out or paint or whatever the
space needed. This included our computer and phone systems: Not only
is our entire client and customer management and Retail Point of Sale
system unified across all our offices and managed centrally for
maximum service and minimal cost, but our phone system is one giant
digital network that is also centralized. This is not only how
nationwide operations do things (as we aspire to be), but it gives us
several benefits: First, it means the minute an office space has
internet in it, we can plug in our phones and be up and running.
Second, it maximizes our personnel resources in both directions --
giving our headquarters total ability to manage calls across our
entire chain of locations, and also allowing our entire chain to
manage calls as appropriate, not ever being limited by awkward phone
systems that don't connect. We don't have multiple phone systems and
companies to deal with anymore -- just one central phone server that
connects to an enterprise VOIP gateway/trunking system and a lot of
$200 digital phones. So, for example, our Texas location is still
undergoing construction to be big enough for training classes, but we
could talk to them on the company phone before we even opened.

The biggest benefit is that, in a world with too few Somatics
practitioners, we maximize their availability to customers, trainees,
etc. We have our Dean of Students in Texas, our Academic Dean in San
Jose, and our Senior Mentor for Professional Trainees in Rio Vista.
All any trainees have to do is call us, and not worry about who's
where or who's available. Our Training Services Director and Mentor
Program Coordinator at the Massachusetts headquarters schedule calls
and post messages to the computer screens of the appropriate parties,
or just simply dial their extension and within a few seconds our
Trainee needing help with a client with a Frozen Shoulder in Chicago
is speaking with his shoulder expert Training Mentor in Oregon. The
same is true if a client calls and wants a session in any of our
locations, etc. etc.

Lost of pontificating about a silly phone system, I know...Right now,
this doesn't matter so much, but as more attention is focused on us in
the year to come, with the TV coverage, military, etc. it will enable
us to expand and serve people very quickly very affordably.
