In HCV, I expect that long-term durability of SVR will be seen regardless of the treatment regimen that was responsible for achieving the SVR. In other words, I don’t subscribe to the notion that immune-system “reprogramming” plays a major role in preventing a relapse.

I accept that that might be true - but why do you think so?
