nothing prevents him from writing calls against his $3mill in shares and if I'm not wrong he can write calls against the warrants too.

He's done this in the past with PIR, USG, IR, etc. Buys a boatload. Announced it and gets a 5-15% boost in the stock price for a short time when he starts writing calls against the position.
