They don’t: ITMN191 is a protease inhibitor and R7128 is a polymerase inhibitor.

Viread and Emtriva, the two constituents of Truvada, each target reverse transcriptase.

This is more of an academic question than a practical one. In Roche’s long-term follow-up of 997 patients who achieved an SVR, 99.2% remained PCR negative after a mean duration of 4.1 years (#msg-19834803).
