Last i heard the New South Wales Teachers Federation, possibly now the strongest 'union' in Australia .. (leaving
aside the medical and legal professional associations, which of course, are not commonly considered 'unions',
as such) .. which tends to the left, of course, fighting for the maintenance, eg. of state-wide staffing vs local
hiring, which would be unpopular for many there, anyway, does not give one cent to any political party and
any direction or even suggestion to wear a colored tea-shirt for any candidate would be laughed out of town.
