Christianity is not a religion...

News to me. And yes, Christians have been responsible for all kinds of horrifying nastiness. Most wars of the Middle Ages and Renaissance were religious wars. And then we have the mess in Ireland that went on for centuries. Maybe it's over now; maybe not.

And consider all the unpleasantness visited on various "natives" by missionaries, while other Christians were endorsing slavery.
