OT I registered to vote today. I’m not sure why. In my state it couldn’t matter less. Anyway, they wanted 2 pieces of ID, both with name and address. I provided an electric bill and drivers license. After the clerk completed the form and gave me my receipt. I asked why she didn’t ask if I was a US citizen? She didn’t know? Then if I said I was, how would she know?....yep, another dumb look? I showed her my passport and asked if she noticed the depression line left on my forehead by my recently removed turban and the camel stains on my shirt. The world is run by incompetents ---- The Peter Principle again. It gets dumber here in the US every day. God help us.
