Although gold takes a backseat to copper production, Arizona has produced over 16 million
ounces of gold. American Bonanza Gold Mining recently completed a lengthy surface and underground
drilling program that defined a resource of over 330,000 ounces of gold.

Current Activity: American Bonanza completed a 40,000-meter drill program at the detachment
hosted Copperstone deposit and in February 2006 announced NI43-101 compliant resources of 330,000
ounces. Golden Arch conducted trenching and drill programs at its Mildred Peak property. Terraco Gold
conducted drilling on geophysical targets with limited success at the Bonanza mine. Galaxy Minerals
purchased a pilot mill for its Yellowjacket mine.
