Russell Index - may be changing the trading ranges right now?
Do you think that because of the Russell Index Reconstitution, that some of the "turnips" that you trade could be trading under influences that normally wouldn't occur?
Some of the "broken turnips" may be under increased selling pressure due to possible changes in the index (reduce their weighting in the Index?), and others being added might also be under pressure in order to short the shares available and accumulate shares before the 1st announcement next Friday?
Some specific stocks seem to be in very narrow trading ranges, and those might be ones that could be potential additions to the Russell Index?
Just a thought, but it would seem that some of the turnips might be considered as new additions to this Index?
