A sad day for America with selfserving politicians delaying the 700bil bail out/investment and letting 1.4 trillion of wealth be frittered away today. In Washington instead of leadership, we hear poll based micromanaged blame game soundbites. The psychologic perspective of all this seems to be have moved forward as if accelerated by time lapse photography, while the corrective measures went into slow motion today.

Each day lost will increase the size of remedy needed.

Locally, I see the gridlock on credit is now making a new 150mil 2009-2011 hospital construction unlikely down the street from where I work. The increasing downward spiral may begin to erode the capability of the 94% that are still able to pay their mortgages.

Who would have thought RD-1 results might be more favorably received later (after credit restabilization and future economic visibility).
