Now that we know what a disaster Sarah Palin is, a question to ponder is:

Whom should McCain have picked, assuming for the sake of discussion that it had to be a Republican woman?

With the benefit of hindsight, I have an answer to the above that I think is hard to top. Who is she?

Hint #1: She does not hold elective office and never has.
