Yep, it's about choice. Even bicyle riders have to wear a helmet here. I taught my kids how to roll when you crash on a bike to protect your head. I survived some falls on a bike as a kid at speeds that now I look back and shudder. LOL! But hey you learn how to take care of yourself.
Here in Washington State they have taken away the choice to teach your kids how to drive. They have to spend $600.00 on a Drivers Ed program. Some politician had his back pocket filled getting this passed. LOL!
Now on the other side of the state and on some over here kids been driving since very young on the farms. I'd much rather teach my daughter how to drive. She is 15 now and I try to educate her when she is with me. Some of the worse drivers in the country live here. Now I haven't been very many places so that isn't a qualified opinion but I sure hope I'm right cause if I'm not I feel for the rest of you. LOL!
Yep, I understand your concerns about different vehicles and the licensing requirements. But hey you are = common sense and the government mentioned in the same sentence. That can be a dangerous thought.
