OK ... so what's the point of Intel releasing a "mobile Prescott" even in desktop replacements? Will the battery life be long enough for the user to move the power cord from one outlet to another? Perhaps "battery" is a misnomer, and "UPS" would be a better term.
This release is puzzling to say the least.

Laptop/Docking Station/Desktop use. I think that most people who purchased Northwood Laptops, mostly use them connected with a docking station, and just need the Laptop for portability when moving from work to home use. IMO, Northwood is not long for this world. I'm not sure what stepping is going to be used for mobile, but I'm pretty sure it won't be the current steppings. I doubt that Prescott will make any major inroads into the Laptop Market, what with Thin and Light gaining strength, but there needs to be something out there to replace current Northwood laptops.
