I see I stepped into some sore feelings amoungst posters. Not my intent at all.

Playing the "what if" game never seems to help anyone does it? I mean opportunity presents itself when it does. The acquisistions happened at the very time they were supposed to. they happened when DPDW had the opportunity to pull off the deals.

T/A is soley about looking at past events to see how a company as reacted before and there what we might expect in the future. The relationship we see between the price of oil and the PPS of DPDW is pretty clear, IMO.

So if that's true, as we see oil rise we can hope to see DPDW rise. Pyscology has a lot to do with the PPS of DPDW as well. Even if it does have enough strength on it's own to trade independently of the price of oil, Wall Street seems to say if oil goes up then so must the oil companies despite what type of oil company you may be.

I am very hopeful that oil is bottoming out here and we should see greener days soon on the DPDW PPS. And that's all that matters in the long run anyways, isn't it?
