I had the opportunity to invest in the angel rounds of the ARTES Medical financing and chose not to for all the obvious reasons before the post IPO implosion.

No, the fact that ARTE is an unambiguous bomb crater was not my primary point in making this observation.
Perhaps a better expression to have used would have been "practice what you preach". XRYMD's suggestion that I visit a penny stock board to attract suckers was off base.

"A penny stock board may be more appropriate for your posts as you might get some suckers to bite there. "stock builder" should consider that board also."

You are correct when you point out that it is the listing status of a publically traded company that determines whether it is a penny stock or not. I think XRYMD is aware of this fact but he wanted to pick a fight so the "penny stock" term was a better fit.
