Wow, such hostility!
Ok, so I half expected this cuz I read all the posts and it seems I guess some of you are a bit bitter about others being negative. I ask that you try to rise above the bs of the past and accept me as a real person, cuz I really do wish to have dialogue with other committed investors. Sometimes it really helps make it through the tough times that seem scary no matter how committed...
I don't have a great deal of money and I got into the company at a really great price... My original position was a mere 10k, and when we hit cents a while back I was so trusting and commited that I took out a loan for 25k to buy in heavy.
I was there when in O5 and 06 when we had a jump and I was very excited then I saw it slowly drop. I know I didn't lose money per say, but it was a miserable feeling seeing that 'potential money' go away. So this time yes... I am a horrible person I sold some of my possition, I don't think you can fault me for that after what has happened before. I am an actor and we are in a strike (for those of you who are sticklers no we aren't in a public strike but there is no work) so I needed money. I haven't abandoned the company, or the great work they are doing. I just felt I could sell half my stock and I am ok either way... If it drops, I have cash, if it goes up I am still in it for a good amount.
For those of you who keep giving me a hard time about my name (although it seems a big deal to make, and childish some of your comments to me) the name fettermuff comes from a play on my cat and feta cheese it is a long story and I don't think any of you really care.
To hamvest, I am a real person... I am posting for the first time ever... and yes i am a long time heavily invested non pro investor. This I swear on Christ and my family. Is that good enough for you? Contrary to your assumption that my words of peace are actually an attempt to use reverse psychology to create a fight... My response back to that could be, that you sound jaded and you should take some peoples words for what they are occasionally.
So, let me know if you are willing to be civil and adult and give a new comer a benefit of doubt. Lets call a truce and let me co exist without being abrassive to me. Otherwise just let me know now and I will stop coming here. I can tell you that I am a public figure and could very easily verify my identity if that is what it will take to get you to be respectful and not suspisious of me.
No I am not a pro and I am not rich... I have bled literally for this company and cause... And you feel kinda alone when your friends are the only ones that you can talk to about it, and they aren't in it so they don't understand... I am just looking for some comradary. (and please don't go off on my spelling, sorry I am lazy i know i have mispelled)
Like I said I am in the entertainment industry and I am framiliar with how film message boards can be abusive and negative places... That is why I have never seeked before... But the company is such in a critical place I thought I would reach out.
As far as me making such a detailed and precise projection... Like I said I am not a pro... IT IS STRICKLY A GUT PREDICTION... Make fun of me if you will. Sometimes gut predictions work better than the rest.
I think you misunderstand me on this:
-- you say that "FDA will approve the protocol and all will progress, however don't expect a huge jump. People won't have the money, nor the stomach to jump back in." You're kidding, right? It isn't the little retail investors that will move this stock as the story unfolds. It will large, professional investors, funds, and hedge funds, and I suspect they'll have both the money and the stomach to take advantage of any good investment opportunity that presents itself.
when it gets approved around 3rd phase I think is when the price will really jump. my father is a doctor so I am going on his thoughts. i am not saying that the regular joe will dictate the stock... i just don't think that upon this 2b approval of protocol that all the big whig investors will jump on the stock... so i am informed, you are making the assumption that i am talking about small investors. but yes they are a part of it. they won't have the stomach nor money... and i think the big guys have hundreds/thousand companys to investigate... i just don't think this approval with result in the big jump... once again my gut... many times in the past i thought that there would be big jumps on news of the next fda approval and i have seen time and time again that the stock actually does very little.
as far as this...
-- you make statements like "please don't take offense, "I don't wish to engage in verbal sparring", "please don't jump down my throat", etc. These aren't statements from an innocent, well-meaning newbie to message boards. You don't have to be a licensed psychoanalyst to recognize the jargon of someone who is looking to stir the pot and pick a fight.
it is sad that in our society "please don't take offense and please lets not fight" are percieved as exactly the opposite... that is a very negtive and jaded view. sadly i understand you have been tricked or betrayed or angered in the past. so i ask for you to rethink your prejudgements of me.
as for this:
-- you claimed "I have been in SYBD/OXBO since day one. My position is quite sizeable, however I must admit that I have sold off as I forecasted this very situation." Apart from the fact that it's strange we've never heard from you before if you have a sizeable position and have been in "since day one," what exactly did you "forecast"?
like i said... i am not a message board person... i just got "lonely' if you will as the time becomes more and more critical with this investment and you start to look around for fellowship with like minded people. i have explained above about how i have felt on this... i borrowed 25k over time and got in very low buying close to 400k in stocks. i sold when it went up just enough to pay off my loan. but then i have seen the stock go up twice... it is really hard as a young man with not alot of money to watch a huge chunk of money dissapate over time... so yes this time... when it went to 1.01 i literally was on pins and needles for 24hours a day... then as it twindled to .7 i couldn't take it anymore and i sold a 50k... and just now when it hit .55 i sold 100... i know... i know... but look at it from my stand point... bird in the hand!!! i am still in for 100k shares, that is a good possition i think. yes know i know you are going to say... well you sold 150 and you only have 100 doesn't add up. yes i have sold here and there over years (when i had no other options) when i really needed money.
