The 'rn-df' phrase caught my eye too, but no big deal IMO.

Probably just wanted to "leave the door open" in the event an unforeseen opportunity or problem comes up in the future.

Wouldn't make sense to "paint himself into a corner" should the company need to raise funds at a future date. Good luck, all the best.
