DPDW recently got rid of almost all of their debt. this move eliminated huge interest payments, about $2M per year, and paved the way for them to get very favorable, single digit interest bank financing.
if you look at the list of private placement shareholders it's a who's who of wall street and offshore exploration. dahlman rose is a top notch bunch. my guess is we'll see DPDW management taking out a loan for their next acquisition in houston or NYC, not dubai.
