You're dead on Stephanie. McCain is the right man for the job at the right time in history. He can be quick tempered about wasteful spending and he can be humorous like he was on the Rick Warren Saddleback forum when he answered that anyone would be considered rich if they made 5 mil or more. I remember his laughing and saying that the up tight libs would take his comment as serious and just this weekend I see Obama has an ad saying that McCain thinks anyone making more than 5 mil is rich. Give me a break. Dems need to get a sense of humor, lighten up alittle and maybe their likeability might go up a few points. We'll maybe not, they're not the party of women these days after dissing Hillary and then going after Sarah Palin's daughter. Maybe that's why my aunt, hardcore Dem in PA, announced she will proudly vote for McCain this election.
I'm sensing more and more confidence in the GOP and more nervousness with the Dems. I've decided this election, I'm going to make phone calls, go door to door, donate, put a sign in my yard, whatever it takes to help get this honorable man elected. We need the kind of change McCain will bring and I want to be play my part.
