zeev - a question

I apologize for asking the "stupid" question -- I'm sure someone must have asked before -- but why do you set your goals and measure your results in absolute dollar terms ("buckers") rather than percentages?

A "bucker" on IBM isn't remotely the same as a "bucker" on MAGS, much less one on IPIX.

It seems odd to me to enter some trades looking for a 1.5% haul, and others looking for a 6% or 7% haul. Or to refer to a 1.5% haul as though it was a good "full" trade in the same post with one for 3% or 4% and refer to it as "taken off for 'only' xx amount"

TIA
