Little Chico - I am not yet using any of the bars outside of the normal trading hours to trade the Q's. I have not found them to be very reliable. Today is a good example. The first three 30" bars were wild swings. Too much volatility for me. My 30" trading is in cash. Yesterday, it would have worked fine. I currently have a stop set long at the high of the 1030 bar.
In my now almost three months of watching the 30" charts in detail, I have determined that the ChOsc is not a good indicator for exiting. Often it will show a divergence for half a day before the market turns. Great predictor however that a turn is coming, just not good on the timing IMHO. On the other hand, I will never open a trade against the ChOsc trend. I exit when ADX turns down, or 3/8 xo, or CCCI14 xz, with a .1% stop.
