What would you do if you find unrefined smelted bars that are on the site, and that are not in the plans of the construction of the ship? Use them as grid markers?! Find out what they are made out of, and to what concentrations, and then make decisions. He may be guessing, we're definitely guessing. To call them ballast, or dore' bars, is just as useless as calling them the 'Hunks of Neptune's Trident' until the assay is done, and then only after the DR allows them to release the info, etc.
Until then all of us should refer to them as 'Hunks of Neptune's Trident', and the picture below IS NOT WILF's BAR of METAL.
