First, and most important;The Red Sox won, the Yankees lost. We are now 1 1/2 games ahead of the Yankees. I am a trader, a daytrader and I've come across a few that are in the neighborhood of new all-time highs. A nice neighborhood. Nice, because almost all those who hold these stocks are making money, smiling and loathe to sell that which makes 'em smile. Sure, a few will take that this baby will climb to the sky and make them RICH. As a trader I have an 'unusual' and lovingly interest in VOLUME. And stocks in new all-time high ground can move sharply up and down with little volume, making them nice trading vehicles.
