The following post was placed by me on Raging Bull. If anyone here wants to try and help, there should be the same standards as are expected here. It is a natural instinct to defend oneself, to "straighten someone else out" etc. This must be resisted.The use of "ignore" needs to be a personal commitment that one makes without having to push a button as first priority to do so. Will give the following a short try. Message follows:
"I would like to make an effort to rebuild this (Raging Bull) board. In doing this it will require certain commitments by posters. First, there is likely at first to be a majority here that are not motivated to a healthy, enjoyable board. Sharing information, and enjoying the process of adding to each others contributions is not a motivation.
My posts will only be to those who share the concept of respect, and adding to each others base of information. Thus, my starting point is:
1. Answer only those who treat me respectfully.
2.Become involved with those who like shared information which draws us together in a body of better informed investors--but also into the building of friendships and good relationships.
