spencer - America needs to become less dependent upon foreign energy sources and less dependent upon non-renewable energy sources as well... All of which argues for increased biomass energy consumption... And yes IMO arguing that any biomass energy facility rely ONLY upon local sources is irresponsible... The free market will determine the price of biomass fuel and the free market should also determine where the supply of biomass fuel is sold... Attempting to squash free market economics is bad economics and distorts economic efficiency which is bad for all of us in the end (remember price controls in the 1970's? Disaster!)...
