As for any gas wells that may be there, they won't own them. The royalties may transfer but not the rights.

This additional acquisition will bring the company's holdings to a total of 259.5 acres of land in the area, including natural gas rights (of which wells are currently operating)...

They specifically say they have the rights in the PR. Why do you think they couldn't have bought the mineral estate along with the surface?
