jscot I'm using my last post of the day to say: You havent a clue what your talking about!! I own close to 200 acres with about 90 acres of bush. That bush is worth about twice what I paid for the whole 200 acres. Vast timber is correct depending on what kind of timber we have on the property. It could be worth twice to 5 times the value of the property. You just dont know. I thought I had covered my property pretty good then last year while walking the back 40. I stumbled upon 2 acres of maple. hidden all this time between the pines and cedars. Not only can you get a lot of money from the timber. You can also sell the top soil which I have done. On only 2 fields of my property. One being about 6 acres and the other about 12 to 15 acres. I wont tell you what it was worth because you wouldnt believe me. So,maybe jscot you should do little farming before you open your tractor UP!!!!!!!
