tryingtoclimb...i ll fill you in on this so called miricle product...

First off i am in the bussiness of useing these products we speak of...i contract for a large developemt company and source and approve large orders for everything from demolishtion to construction to final finishing....and many projects involved clean rooms and wharehousing that require just such a product...

I reason i was interested in this Nipu was from you GBMR folks and looked into it last year...i called Sheppard last year and after several messages and days of waiting he finally returned my call...he knew very little about preperation or cost...and wouldn t even send me a sample?i even talked with Joeseph Kristal..

My point is several...first the non VOC is signifagant...if youve ever used epoxies especially years ago it ll kill you...but they ve come a long way...

However cost is where the breaking point is...Tennant has a range of products that range from 25 cents per Sq Foot to 1.00...add to that the contarctors prep work and it varies...bottom line is cost...if you are doing a 100 000 sft wharehouse and someone quotes 60 cents per sqft and someelse 70 for what the specs call for the development co dose not care...they will go with the lower quote 99% of the time reguadless of product used or enviromental concerns...

And no VOC is nt an issue with New buildings as 80% of all the product requirements are new construction and the low or no VOC isn t an issue as well as the large open spaces allows for Quick disapation of the smell...and todays high effiecancy air systems totally replace the air every 20 minutes in a building...so again No voc is not much of an issue...the only time where the VOC is an issue is in confined spaces or when the area canot be closed down...but it would have to be out of some order due to curing times...

Nipu dosn t address any of the preparation issues?...i didn t see any nor could M Sheppard answer any questions in reguards prep of the concrete...Acid wash-sand blast-deep scrub?...Nipu has been patent in North America since 2000 and developed back in 1982...and since then has been passed around with no commercial sales?...

AND Tennant Co has No VOC products as well...and has on staff chemist that can answer prep questions and appication problems 24 hours a day...Sheppard is MIA...and iam not so sure Joesephf Kristal is any better...not to mention Tennat ships same day on any product...i could n t even get a name of a contractor using the product in canada?

Also the phazer people you mentions also applies epoxy and other urethane coatings...they have used it in some small projects but the one picture show a TEST patch...not very convincing.?as well Nipu is a two part product...contractors hate using any product that you have to mix...2 reasons...most of the time the ratios are not 50-50...so if you mix it wrong even slightly there a liability that the product will not work right and you ll be on the hook...if its ready to use then the liability is all on the manufacturer...also in a 2 part system you r working time is less as when you mix them you activate the bonding agents...so if you have any delay s in the project your screwed or throwing out the product...

AS far as NIPU being a viable commercial product..it all comes down to price points...why was n t Joeseph Kristal able to sell any huge amounts from 2003-2008 thru EFM in Germany?in 5 years what sale s did they do...what make you think he ll do any better with nanotechinducties INC?

Note that RW is the founder of this new company.....and Darin Nellis his son is involved right beside him...just what do you expect they are going to do ...?
