"One further note - some time ago, late summer last year, I believe, Ketch made the statement that the Embarq FPGA design was complete. He said it was "frozen". Now, nearly a year later, we still do not have an FPGA. Who thinks Ketch was being honest about the design being "frozen". Anyone? Show of hands?"

Not sure I want to jump all over the honesty card today, but it's pretty clear that NVI is not one of the more capable companies at bringing a new technology or any product to market.... they can't raise the money to do the job, either because they don't have anything worth investing in or they simply are lousy managers. I fall short of saying Brad is not being honest, but something isn't right, and I think we all realize that is an understatement.
