Yes, to a knowledgeable firm or trader, this was a great opportunity to short the stock and lower the price. The perfect storm if you will.
The shares were around a buck or more
The pp was going for .70
And they knew there would be a quiet period to shake up some shareholders.
Bonus if you had several million shares coming to cover with.

The perfect storm.
