Yeah! Our 850# safeties just sit there weeping and a chattering, new or not it seems...doesn't take long.

Setting them at 920# helps.

All the scum/skim is at the very top and the combo heat/pressure valves are a weaker link. Don't like those.

Notice how people ask for but don't follow advice?

I repaired a freezer for the local hardware owner one day. He and I got along great and I always paid my bill by return mail. Frank was really helpful and I was always glad to see him. His wife and I laughed a lot about men and appliances. One day they called me to repair their freezer full of meat. I fixed it and told her everything was OK, went down to the hardware and got paid.

Next week I stopped in and asked how was the freezer going? He said, "Well I got home that night and it was running, but the sides were hot so I didn't want to lose that food, so we drove hell for leather to Astoria and bought a new freezer! I said "Good god Frank, they are SUPPOSED to get hot on the sides, why didn't you call me?" He just shrugged.

He decided to call.
I fixed.
He decided I didn't.
Why call me?
