You can get a 50 lb bag of sunflower seeds at Tractor Supply for prox $13.00, Mariner. I stopped buying the mixed seed because so much was wasted.

Where do you get the shucked corn?

We see a lot of Mexican bluejays around here too...plus lots of cardinals and the usual wrens, chickadees, mourning doves, hummingbirds, etc.

Some people around here used to feed the deer, also had the big ol' galvanized water tanks installed in their back yards but finally were convinced it wasn't the wise thing to do. Yes, it attracted herds of deer and they were fun to watch but too many were killed by our heavy traffic when the deer started to come in from undeveloped parts to the residential area.

BTW, I'm not allowed to touch our remote. LOL
