The gold mines are played out junk properties that have been abandoned for many years (in some cases since before WW2). All Lumb is doing is swapping these worthless properties back and forth between trading shells like HGLC and FFGO and selling people stock while he PRs it. It doesn't take much third party DD to realize it either.
