A plea for help. Does anyone know someone who works for the SEC?
Here is what has happened. On Aug 14, 2007 I received a dividend in CTBG for the shares I owned in GFCI. It was just over a million shares of CTBG. Suddenly - almost a year later - they have somehow they have managed to recall 300,000 of those shares and suddenly my account shows I am short 300,000 shares of CTBG. They have done this to everyone who received dividend shares. All my friends have the same problem. So suddenly tomorrow there will be people needing to cover 20 million shares of this stuff.
I sold the darn stuff for a penny a share and now I could be forced to buy to cover at $0.03 to $0.05 a share - and that is if this doesn't trigger a short squeeze. This is the most insane thing ever!!! I could actually lose money on a spin-off. If the thing short squeezes I could lose a very large amount of money.
I'm going to call the SEC and try to get the thing halted. If anyone can help private message me please.
I'm freakin mad. How can they put shares in my account and then demand I buy them back on the open market 11 months later? To me - that is bank fraud. They have put a phony asset in my account.
