I believe you are correct. The preferreds are owned by those who saw the plan from the inside, the sellers of their own businesses. They took the newly issued preferreds in exchange for an oppotunity to do bigger and better things within SWVC. If all fails, their preferreds are still backed-up by their original assets...sort of speak.
