If the 0.50 price you remember is accurate, such shares would have a price of 2.50 when compared with current share price. More to the point, the 21.00 price you refer to on such an historical spit-adjusted price chart would correspond to an actual price of 4.20 in 1992 (or 4 and 13/64).
