Any company is responsible for setting and meeting business objectives, as well as their credibility with customers and shareholders (The size of the company is irrelevant)! Please, stop using the Pink sheets as an excuse for everything.

A small, or a large, company will have a high likelihood of success if they are able to set and meet their business goals and have solid credibility for customers/shareholders to feel safe doing business with them (if this were not the case then meeting quarterly numbers would not be SO important). If they are unable to do this, they will fail. (The above also takes into the assumption that the company, regardless of size, has a solid product to answer the needs of the market, and professional employees capable of performing their jobs).
