do you have proof of any paid promoters?

Absolutely. There are press releases and "filings" put out by companies all the time announcing arrangements with paid promoters (sometimes they call them Investor Relations). There are paid promoters here who disclose their relationships and post links to their disclaimers in their signatures and/or profiles. I receive promotional literature all the time via email, most of which contain a disclaimer at the bottom saying the sender has been paid to distribute the material. Nothing wrong with any of that as long as proper disclosure is made.

It doesn't get any more evident than that.
