I have a question for all you regular trading guys. After and if they announce the news of a finalized deal, how long will people have to buy shares to get the divi? Could it be announced, then only that day people can buy shares or usually is there a couple days? Also in your experience wouldn't most shareholders be locked in for the divi further pushing the pps up until the ex-date of the divi? Could be a nice run till the payout of the dividend, right?
