To begin with I am not an expert on glycolosation. If I make errors which those with greater knowledge uncover I welcome your corrections.

The invention reported limits or eliminates the amount of fucose in the glycolic chain which results in enhanced activity of the antibody..... My understanding from discussing this with Dr. Meade is that it is the addition of mannose (another type of sugar) to the glycololic chain particularly at a specific loci on the chain, that has the greatest effect in attracting the NK cells, ie the cause for incresed activity. At present I believe this has not been done in a CHO cell.
