Cap -- Programming -- if you are willing to devote all your time to staying on the cutting/bleeding edge ahead of the curve with the latest and greatest continually upgrading your skillset with the language dujour, then go for it. You'll then maybe be able to get $20 an hour, after you spend months looking for a Jr. Programming job. But then you'll get to sit in a "kuhl" cubicle and post Dilbert cartoons on the wall. (Wow! [sarcasm]). But you won't have any time for anything else, including much trading.
