Matt,

Thanks for your views.

Have you asked the question directly to TATF?

Have you received and answer from TATF?

In addition to get your questions answer by TATF, while you wait, I can suggest to read SBrunner answer to your subject of interest a few posting back. The answer are here.....

Also, to make your wait more enjoyable -from TATF- I'll suggest to read the ITTO research:
http://www.itto.or.jp/live/PageDisplayHandler?pageId=199

I do not know who gave you the indication or answer about the thinnings been on schedule, can you provide reference?

You can thin as much in schedule as you want, specially if the culls are worthless in the market.
You can read about marketable culls size and harvesting schedules in the research posted here from leaders in the forestry industry.

Your conclusion about checks been behind eight years behind,
-I know mule delivery is slow process- that's SBrunner wording for: very few have seen any money. (I could have said behind my @$$, but I will not do that)
I will add and prefer SBrunner answer on his postings here:
"approximately $800K have been distributed so far" that is up to 2008 since first marketed trees in the open market or less than $57K a year, based on SBrunner calculations that is less than 450 marketable trees thinnined as average per year an accumulative 35000 seventh year trees and less than 3000 of 10 year old trees http://www.tatf.com/projections.htm
As TATF claims two million trees have been planted, at an annual average cost of $32 per tree that is around $64 Millions collected so far from you and me and the 3000 plus claimed on TATF web site (last paragraph): http://www.tatf.com/investing_in_tropical_hardwoods.htm.
Crunch the numbers or read the research and you might conclude something of importance.

Keep it up.
And thanks for investing in TATF.

P.S.
I forgot to mention I have seen some of the furniture pieces marketed by Raleo, they are tremendous pieces of work, and very expensive for most people.
