The boiler can not be economically practical if it will not be practical or economically feasible to power down every time the wind blows Laidlaw off the grid, or whenever the boiler runs out of wood as the UNH study suggests it will if it doesn't import price inflated fuel from afar.
A smaller plant is more practical and proven to be economically feasible by a competitor further along on the queue. Sorry. Nice try anyhow. Have the company prove the ability to power down under those circumstances, have Laidlaw perform a wood study that doesn't show shortages, then maybe you guys gain some credibility. In the mean time there's plenty of reason for reversetaxman and others to vent.
